Food Service Information
Our Food Service is requesting that all Alpine Elementary Families complete a Household Information Request Survey. This short survey is used to determine eligibility for state benefits for which your child(ren)'s school may qualify. The forms have already been sent home with your student. Please complete one form per family, sign, and return this form to your child's school. If your child(ren) is enrolled in the KHOLA program and you participate in the Weekly Meal Kit Program, you can return the completed form during meal kit distribution as well.
Kindergarten Round Up: May 4th
Please call our office, 784-0884 and we can schedule your NEW kindergartener for a round up time. Your kindergartener needs to be 5 years old by September 1st. We have 20 minute time slots for you and your child to attend that day. Can't wait to see your new students!
Spring is just around the corner and plans are underway to host the 2020-21 Kindergarten and K-Knight students and their parents at Kindergarten Orientation. Our three elementary schools are hosting orientations on three separate dates. Alpine Elementary Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Because kindergarten teachers host this event, there will be no school for your Alpine Kindergartener or K-Knight student on Tuesday May 4.
I hope this gives you ample time to make daycare arrangements for your student, if necessary. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we welcome the Kenowa Hills Class of 2034!

4th/5th Grade Health Instruction
Reproductive health education is a lifelong process of acquiring information and forming attitudes and beliefs about physical and emotional development, relationships, and intimacy. We believe that parents are primary educators of their children. Therefore, the goal of the Kenowa Hills Reproductive Health Curriculum (4th - 9th grade) is to support parents in providing the necessary skills for children to make effective, age-appropriate, personal decisions that promote emotional, social, physical, and sexual development. The curriculum at each grade level has been carefully written by Kenowa Hills Public School teachers and administrators to reflect the needs and values of our community. Parents can have confidence that all teachers in the district are delivering the same curriculum at each grade level, and that curriculum materials are available for their review. As part of the Kenowa Hills Public Schools Reproductive Health Curriculum, fourth and fifth grade boys and girls will have health instruction delivered to them (separately be grade and gender) by trained staff on March 30. Please stay tuned for more information distributed by your child’s teacher (4th and 5th grade ONLY) and feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher or our PE teacher, Mrs. Bradley at email@example.com.
5th Grade Parent Virtual Parent Meeting
There will be a VIRTUAL 5th grade parent meeting on March 23rd at 6:30pm. The middle school will be hosting it virtually with a virtual tour afterwards provided by Student Council. More information to come!
Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.PERSONAL MASTERY SPECIAL EDUCATION ENGLISH LEARNERS TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM
