No matter what challenges we face, our community of Kenowa Hills educators is here to give the very best to our students and families!
Enrollment for 2023-24
To enroll your NEW student at Kenowa Hills for the upcoming 2023-24 school year, please visit khps.org/registration. Returning students, please watch for forthcoming information regarding updating your student's information in PowerSchool.
Please refer back to this page often as information and dates will be added below.
Food Service
Families must submit a new application each year (after July 1st) in order to qualify for benefits for the entire school year. The federal waivers that allowed for free school meals for all students have ended so those families who do not submit applications or do not qualify for meal benefits will need to purchase breakfast and lunch for their students. Apply NOW so that your student(s) does not incur unpaid meal charges when school begins again in August. The online application can be found here, Free & Reduced Meals Application, and paper applications will be available.
Transportation
Bussing will be available again this year for students. We will no longer be posting bus routes online going forward due to student safety. Please watch your email for communication about routes and stops prior to the start of school. If you need to speak with someone at the bus garage, or for more information, please visit khps.org/transportation.
Now, Knighthood can start even earlier! The Early Childhood Center (ECC) now accepts Knights as young as 6 weeks in our newly developed infant room! The ECC houses several programs including Community Education Preschool, Great Start Readiness Preschool, and a Child Care Center, which includes both before- and after-school childcare for children from kindergarten to fifth grade, as well as all-day child care with educational enrichment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
For more information visit khps.org/early-childhood-center or call us at 616-647-0910.
Our dedication to Education Inspired starts with our youngest learners. To enroll, your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2023. Kindergarten and K-Knights are offered at all three of our elementary buildings.

In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
